Over a period of 12 months, my team collaborated with a UK based charity on developing high performing, engaging and value creating managers.  Putting a spark back in to the organisation was a top priority for the CEO.

Staffed with individuals with a deep passion for supporting people in need and facing seemingly insurmountable challenges, establishing a clear pathway for how leaders and managers operated, communicated and collaborated was vital.

The absence of a structured, clear roadmap for standards, boundaries and expectations had resulted in a silo mentality, albeit unintentionally.

Collaborative, precise and personable...

Scott Watson's team was appointed to design and facilitate a modular two-day management development training programme for our population of 60 managers.

Scott's team was chosen as our organisation's preferred partner because they had demonstrated a solid track record of delivering lasting value to clients rather than simply 'delivering training', and this was an important consideration in our selection.  In addition, we found the genuinely collaborative, precise and personable approach of Summit team members to be refreshing.

Delivered over a 12 month period, the training programmes included a healthy focus on developing valuable Emotional Intelligence awareness and competencies, which could then be partnered with specific skills development. 

The focus on creating an involving, thought-provoking and very enjoyable learning environment, together with a focus on how managers (including senior leaders) would practically apply learning back in the real world of our organisation was pivotal to participants delivering even more value for the organisation. Scott's team also helped us to understand patterns of leadership behaviours which we could strengthen and develop.
